XR consulting

Start XR projects with a clear feasibility assessment.

Before selecting headsets, 3D pipelines or platforms, we define the business objective, users, available data and technical constraints. The result is a realistic project direction rather than a demo with no path to production.

Starting points

When this approach makes sense

  • The right balance between AR, VR and mixed reality is unclear
  • Hardware, tracking or data quality still carry technical risk
  • Existing CAD and 3D assets need to be assessed
  • A proof of concept should validate real project assumptions

Deliverables

What we build

  • Use-case and audience analysis
  • Feasibility and hardware assessment
  • 3D/data asset review
  • Roadmap for prototype, pilot and rollout

Use cases

Concrete applications instead of XR for its own sake.

The right implementation depends on audience, environment, data, hardware and the integrations required.

Decision criteria

The key questions before starting the project.

Clear technical and operational assumptions make the difference between a compelling prototype and a production-ready solution.

  • What problem should XR solve measurably better?
  • Do users need mobile, stationary or hands-free interaction?
  • What level of tracking accuracy is required?
  • Which systems and data sources need to be connected?

Quality & operations

What makes an XR solution reliable in production.

Performance, usability and maintainability are evaluated together instead of being postponed until rollout.

  • Test on representative target hardware and in realistic environments
  • Document technical limits, dependencies and fallback paths
  • Optimize 3D content for performance and maintainability
  • Plan deployment, updates and operational ownership from the start

Frequently asked questions

Questions about XR Consulting & Feasibility.

Answers to common questions before an XR project.

When is an XR proof of concept worthwhile?

When critical assumptions around tracking, interaction, data quality, hardware or user acceptance are still open. A good PoC tests those risks instead of merely looking impressive.

Does the target hardware need to be fixed at the start?

Not always. It is often better to define the use case and requirements first, then compare devices based on field of view, tracking, ergonomics, operations and availability.

Can existing CAD data be reused?

Often yes. CAD assets usually need optimization for real-time rendering, materials, file size, interaction and the selected target hardware.
